Hello! My name is Heather Conklin, I live in Tulsa, OK. I’ve been married to Todd for 27 years! I’ve been a stay-at-home mom since 2000 and enjoyed every minute of it. However, my children are growing up fast and have flown the coop! My oldest child, Jack is married to Alli, a new law student at the University of Virginia Law School in Charlottesville, VA. (She helped me with the name of my blog! Thanks Alli!)! My middle child Gracie is a nursing student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and my youngest child, Emma is a sophomore at Oklahoma State University. I facilitate a bible study with nine of my best friends and volunteer where I can. I also sell Scout & Cellar clean crafted wine as a side hustle.

In this season of life, my kids are grown up and moving on. It has been a challenging new chapter! I’ve started playing tennis,  Mah Jong and I’m learning again how to cook for 2! I’m glad to show you all of the recipes I have come to love and favorite things in my life that have helped make cooking easier. I am also an avid reader so you can find my favorites in the book section of my blog.
