Chocolate Buttercream Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla 
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 baked pie shell, cooled 

Directions: 

  1. Melt chocolate and set aside to cool.
  2. In a small mixer bowl, cream butter. Add sugar, melted chocolate, and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs 1 at a time. Beat 3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and thick.
  4. Pour into pie shell and chill. Garnish with Whipped Cream if desired.
