Crockpot BBQ Chicken

put chicken breasts and Stubbs sauce in the crock pot this is the one I like cook and then pull the chicken out to shred it. put it back into the crock pot and mix. keep warm a simple and quick side, heat up with butter, salt and pepper I used this salad mix Mac & Cheese from Costco – Delish! Easy Weeknight meal
Chicken:
- 1 bottle of Stubbs Sweet Heat Legendary BBQ Sauce
- 4 – 6 chicken breasts
- Brioche Hamburger buns
- Pickles, optional
Put the chicken breasts into the crock pot. Cover with the Stubbs BBQ sauce. Put the cover on and cook for 3-4 hours on high. Once it’s finished cooking, pull the chicken out and on a cutting board, start to shred the chicken. Put the chicken back into the sauce and stir.
Slaw:
- 1 Bag of Asian Inspired Salad Kit, take out the dressing packet (keep for a different time)
- ½ cup Kraft slaw dressing
- 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- Mix the salad kit, dressing and teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Make sure all of the slaw has been coated in the dressing.
1 pan of Macaroni and Cheese from Costco, heated
Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes
- 1 container of Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes
- 3 Tbs butter
- ½ cup milk
- Salt & Pepper
- Heat the potatoes in a skillet. Add milk and butter to make them creamy
To Plate:
- In a skillet, heat up some butter and put the buns inside face down and heat up until toasted. Put the bun on a plate. Start layering the yumminess! Add chicken on the bottom of the bun, some pickles and top with the slaw, or put the slaw on the side. Put the top bun on. Serve with a side of Bob Evans Mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese! Easy weeknight meal!
