I’m sure you have seen or used this recipe before. It is so easy and foolproof to make delicious spicy beef.

In a crock pot, pour in 1/2 cup water. Place your chuck roast inside the pot. Sprinkle on both packets and top with pats of butter. Sprinkle around the pepperoncini. Set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or hight for 3-6 hours. Honestly I start cooking it as early in the morning on high as I can get it going. The long day over high heat helps break the meat down.

When you are getting ready to eat, place all of the meat on a cutting board and begin separating the fat from the meat. Shred the beef and place it in a pile. Discard the pile of unwanted stuff.

With a large spoon or however you like to skim fat off of the top, start taking the fat off of the liquid. Get as much out of the crock pot as possible. When finished, put the meat back in and stir, reduce the dial to warm and cover with the lid until you are ready to eat.

Heat up frozen rice and make Cilantro Lime Rice bowl, heat up tortillas for tacos or use this to make quesadillas. Cook refried beans, make guacamole, top with sour cream, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, salsa, chopped cilantro. However you like to eat your Mexican food! This is a simple and delicious way to make spicy beef!
